Hon. Linda Storey
Judge Storey was a Texas civil court judge for over twelve years, serving as presiding judge of Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 3 from 2006 -2018. As a judge, she presided over thousands of cases, including eminent domain and inverse condemnation, real property and HOA disputes, construction cases, commercial and residential evictions, personal injury and property damage claims, contract disputes, and consumer debt cases.
Prior to taking the bench, Judge Storey worked as an Assistant Harris County Attorney for eight years as a State and Federal litigation attorney, and as an attorney in the eminent domain division, where she was a lead attorney for Harris County and the Harris County Flood Control District in the acquisition of real property for public roads, infrastructure, and flood control projects.
Judge Storey received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990, and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 1993, where she was an editor on the South Texas Law Review. She is a graduate of St. Agnes Academy in Houston. Judge Storey lives in Houston and is the proud mother of Brendan, an honor student at Spring Branch Middle School.
